This design-build modular building was constructed by Artsway Scientific in Monona Iowa and delivered to the client's site for assembly in California. MEP Engineers designed the mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems for this 21,350 square foot animal holding and research lab.
The design was made entirely in 3D and included full redundancy on all components and compliance with ABSL2 standards. The HVAC system included an outdoor air handler with redundant supply fans, Variable air volume control, outdoor redundant exhaust fans, and outdoor temporary boilers.
