Fire Engine House 4, Dubuque, Iowa
Renovation of Dubuque fire station. Removed old hvac equipment and rooftop ductwork, and designed new variable refrigerant volume systems (VRF) to cool and dehumidify the common spaces and sleeping quarters. The system also included new reheat coils tied to an existing boiler, and energy recovery ventilation. MEP Engineers contract IIW as an architectural consultant.
